You probably wondering, that you know this already and everyone keeps saying the same thing.

I am not referring to Doctor's appointment checkup, I'm talking about checking up on ourselves and loved ones.

Check up on your self once in a while, that way you know and can realize if something went wrong at a space of time and why it happened. Checking up on yourself means giving your self a personal look out, and screening of what you are doing wrong and the right things that used to be done and aren't anymore.

Check up on people, when you notice they aren't doing stuffs they would do on a daily, ask them what's up? let them know you notice these things, It is a sign that you care. Check up on people when you notice they have not been around you or not been online (social media) for a while.

Do not wait to receive a bad news about someone you know before checking up on them.

You know the way we Nigerians can be dramatic, they will now come and start saying awww I was even thinking about him just the other day ooo, what could have happened? If you had checked up on him/her you would have felt not much need to ask all these funny questions.

My mum keeps screaming this (Check up) thing to my ears almost everyday, to endeavor to always check up on her at least once in two days, no matter how busy I am, at first I thought why is my mum being dramatic? but after a couple of reminiscing on the matter I figured the importance of checking up on people.

Tho i still freaking suck at checking up on friends, but I do know the value and I'm working towards being better.
